Leave it on. Just check for leaks every now and then, using a suction hose to open the valve.

Says in the manual it only needs to be turned off for long term storage or engine work so mines on 24/7

Says Weetabix on the side of buses, but they are not filled with them.
The manual tells you what should happen in a perfect world with a new bike, things do tend to wear out after 20 odd years, happy to put the effort into turning it off when bike is stopped, cheaper than an oil and filter change when things go wrong,------- which they will
