does anybody have this part #? i don't see it in the diagram. i'm having the running out out gas while tank is full syndrome. switching from on to reserve helps. i've read old post on this subject. vacuum line/petcock diaphram. any tips/ideas?

 

From the parts diagrams I've looked at, there is no gasket for the gas cap.

 

Your breather for the fuel tank is probably blocked.

 

thanx i'll chk that and petcock diaphrams/vacuum hose. strange feeling to run out of gas with gas still in the tank!!!!
