oil dip stick needed

Default oil dip stick needed

does anyone out there in cbr1f land have a spare dipstick for the old hurricane, i went to honda and they say that the thing is discontinued. i did a stupid thing and didnt tighten it down after adding oil and went for a ride in the canyons and got home to oil soaked jeans and no dip stick if you can help it would be appreciated thanks sadden rider.[:@]

If i give you the measurments can you find a machinest do make you a copy? If you can not find the original part and you want a 100% exact copy, I can ask my machinest how much it costs and if you want oneI'llask him to do it.

hey thanks alot for the tip, find out how much he would charge, the only bad things is that i am in the states, california to be exact, dont know how much it would be to ship

I have seen replacement ones on Ebay that have an oil temp guage in the end of them for our model.

The above applies to 90 and up 1000F's. Ron Ayres shows a different part no. for 88 and 89, being 15650-MM5-000, which they show as DISCONTINUED but replaced with 15651-MG7-000, price $12.32.
