Default Odometer question

I bought a new gage cluster on ebay a couple of days ago becuase my feel and cracked. I was wondering if there is a way to turn back the mileage on the new odometer to match the true mileage on the engine.

I'd suggest finding an instrument technician - the parts are very delicate and you can break them without even trying.
My 2c worth.

Take the cover off your old gauges and swap it with the new one. Knowledge of how to roll back a digital odometer is a little further on the dark side than most of us wanna have. Or admit to having, especially when the first person that responded is a Judge

Hmmmmmm how do I answer that -

Remove your old speedo from the broken housing - two screws on the back.
You damaged the casing, probably not the speedo -
Fit it into the new housing.
Easy !

If you need help, look in the how to's - I did one on how to remove instruments on a 90 - your 93 is almost identical.....

Gone over to the dark side..........................

Too bad we don't have reverse like the goldwings.... you could just put it up on the center stand and run it in reverse like ferris bueller.

Odometers these days are sealed to keep the wrong do-ers out. If it were easy, you could not trust buying a used vehicle for anyone.

A had a friend who would disconnect the speedo/odometer cable and ride the bike for a few years and then sell it. That's just wrong IMO.

That I 100% agree with, selling it with "tampered" miles is outright stealing !
and I believe illegal in most places and countries.

But if you are keeping an old bike ......reckon you can do what you want with
it.........hmmmm a 1990 with 45 miles on the clock .......... lol
