Under your tank thetage of using old cables is that you can connect them to a drill re are two small outlets one is the breather which connects to the hose that goes down to the bottom of theframe ,the other is the drain from the filler cap recess that one goes thru the tank and ends above the rubber funnel which also drains to the bottom of the frame.The drain hose I made sure was clear by pushing an old choke cable thru also pushed cable up the breather but application of compressed air should clear any rust or crap in that tube .The advantage of old choke/brake cables is that you can connect your electric drill and effectively have a flexible drill to clear any crap out of the tube
