Default No drive

So got bike back together after painting etc. start up no problems but no drive to back wheel. Doesnt feel like its going into gear correctly, was fine before I replaced with anodised bolts. The gear change cover did come loose so maybe something came loose or displaced would appreciate some advice

How long has it been sitting? Clutch plates may have stuck together.

Did you check that the clutch is actually engaging/disengaging when you pull the lever?

Did you change all the external engine bolts with anodised? i.e the clutch slave houseing as well?

Were all the bolts the same length as the ones they replaced?

Did you do an oil change at the same time and perhaps overfill the engine with oil?

Have to narrow it down Pilgrim.

Cheers, SB

Well if the sprocket cover has come outwards the clutch rod is not
actuating the the clutch

All those bolts are different lengths and some have specific collars

If the sprocket cover was off for any length of time the clutch slave
cylinder relaxes out too - all factors to consider

Default Only feel bit of a plonker

Well found my problem of no drive. Only chance I have had lately to get in mancave. Took off sprocket cover turned back wheel, front sprocket not turning but chain going round. When I fed chain though to front sprocket there is a collar in front of front sprocket which i put chain. This held chain on but no drive. Ten minutes later chain on correctly and took up road boy dont it go. Have Yam R1 shortened Yoshi silencer on right side and blocked off left side, no jet changes and standard air box and stick coils, well happy

Looks good. Give us some more pics/details about removing the from cowl. What bars are you running? New cables? What did you do with the oils cooler?

As Tim (kinda) says Pilgrim, a happy ending is a good ending. And thanks for posting your D'oh moment. It happens to all of us at some time or other.

Cheers, SB
