Just one thought, in Shakey's link, I thought the picture of the cans looked odd. I scrolled down and they say that they are 9" (225mm) in length. It depends on what you want, but I personally think they are to short for the look that I'd want. A 9" can is very short for a bike this size.

You're right. Personally, I'd go near stock length on my bike for appearance sake.
My stockers are ugly, but they work. My money is better spent elsewhere on the bike.

Am listening to all the feedback, guys ... thanks

Yep ... 225mm cans .... with a pretty big outlet and no DB killer .... Maybe that's a bad thing??? lol

The rest of the bike had quite a bit of "reconditioning" over the winter; new brakes, fork rebuild, new tyres, bearings, chain/sprockets, engine service, plastics repaired, etc, etc ... TBH, it rides 100% .... could do with a re-paint but that's huge bucks and maybe something to do this winter .... the one thing that really makes it look bad in my eyes, is the shabby looking stock exhaust as it's been repaired and re-painted in its past and it's now showing .... I hadn't heard of anyone on here fitting these before, so, thought I'd take a closer look .... If I'm being honest, the only current issue, other than the cans and paint is the cam chain rattle when it's cold .... am also now looking at the 325mm option too ... legal and with removable DB killers for a few quid more .... maybe,..... I dunno!!!

Thanks again for the input

Just thought i'd mention i've dealt with Delkevic in the UK when getting new downpipes and they were first class to deal with. Even shipped a new set of pipes FOC when the first set had a slight manufacturing fault.

Thumbs up my cans

Hi,

just thought I would show my non-stock cans for others to use as a measure.
These are 400mm but straight through with 50mm exit ports!

Loud but not obtrusive - purr along nicely then give a nice note when accelerating with a nice amount of popping on the overrun. Just enough to get noticed without giving peeps heart attacks.

Rick
