Finally got my bike back on the road after 6 months away.
She is a FX (1999) model - one of the last !!
Complete standard other than a GIVI rack, clear rear lenses and Blackbird Mirrors.
Let me know what u think of her !

Hi Mark
Mine's also a 1999 CBR1000FX.
Tell me about the blackbird mirrors.
Is the rear view better than standard mirrors?
How did they fit?
Did you have to upgrade the flasher unit?

Depends what you want them to do !!

The space of the holes is wider so u need to do a bit of dremmeling !

I fitted the spacers so my elbows were not in the mirrors. But as you can see the look is great and I have white lenses with LED tower bulbs that run as white light when the indicators are off and orange when you indicate. I also fitted white strobes in mine which are fantastic for filtering on the motorway !!
