Not missing too much Steve . IMO the linked brakes sucked ****! I know some like them thats why I put an IMO in there...I'd hate to start a row

Might try to start a thread that contains references to: Shooting, tyres (tires for some), oil, religion, Government policies, linked brakes and all the favourites. Then step back and see what happens . What do you think mate?

Dave, good call on the brakes. I think that may be it. (That's why I mentioned the caliper above)
I'll see if I can catch it.

As far as the LBS, you don't have to hold your tongue just because sprock wishes he had it.

As far as your other thread topics, you really don't have to go there, either... I can sum it all up for you:
Awesome, BT021/PR2s (and it's TIRES..LOL), Rotella T (synth is better), they're all wrong except maybe Buddhism , they all suck, as does LBS (for the most part...but don't tell sprock)

HA HA. for the most part I'd agree..I use Motul though because everybody knows Shell stuff's crap . Religion..yeah, I regard myself as having some Buddhist tendencies, but I'm very partial to eating the occasional animal . Some I pat, some I eat, some maybe both .

However it's definately TYRES!

Default I swear To G

Dylan .....I swear ........somebody dropped you on your head when you
were a baby.............okay so maybe that's like a month ago.

Anyways you know as well as I do, LBS sucks ***** big time.
oh I see you finally fessed up and admitted it ......now ..........
Guess enough people have made the statement ..............LOL

Well I have that clacking sound under braking and I was wondering
about what it was, as I've gone through the front brakes and everythings
as tight as Trouts wallet.......hee hee hee

So maybe those head bearings need to be done over the winter now that
I think of it she's a little sloppy alright......the new tires and maybe
doing these bearings will do the job.

Tires Pilot Power's 2CT (PP2CT) ........ ......where's the Rimula Cap Bud ??

Anyone done the bearings ?? ......Is it a big deal to do ?
Bearing pullers and driver tools required or what ?

HAHAHA!!!

First off, Doug is right. To replace the head bearings, all you need is a can of WD. (where is that "uses for WD thread".... I have one to add.. )

But seriously, sprock.... RTFM!!! LOL...
Special tools? Naaah, just use a screwdriver, a hammer, a torch, and maybe a nice piece of pipe! (jk, kinda.... I've never done one on this bike but have on others... can't be that different)

And the buddhism chit was a joke....

Oh, and it's definitely TIRES and WRENCHES (not spanners.....LOL)

Doug .....................Motorkote work best ......................right ??????
or is it some sorta voodoo chit or wtf.

Thanks for the tips Trout but just because you beat the living daylights outta
everything with a hammer and try to hide the damage with WD, don't make it the
right and proper way to be going about things...........LOL jk

haha! I actually planned on coming back as a seagull so I could follow sprock around and chit on his head.
Or maybe come back as a 300ft tall robot! That would be cool. (yes, it's possible) LOL..
