Swisherred, I've put foam grips on most of my bikes including the cbr. I tried the thick touring ones but they felt weird (too thick and lost too much feeling). Now I use the "sport" ones which are thinner, but still reduce the vibes a fair bit. Also they're really cheap so if you don't like them you haven't lost much hard earned $$.

I've been thinking about some different grips, too.
Gel or foam seems like the way to go...

I got some nice gel palm leather gloves a few years back for Christmas, and they made a big difference, but more comfort is always nice.

I've put gel grips on mine, Wolfman are your bar ends heavier than stock OE?

Hi Karlo My bar ends are custom made by my own fare hands and the lathe. I got the sizes and the weight from one of the guy's on here. I made them the diamiter as standard and increased the length to give me about 5g over weight. I tried them and they made a great diference. Have left them like that as they seem good. Hope that answers your question
