so ive been looking around for a creative solution to this in the last few days and one of the good ideas that ive come up with is a universal can from supertrapp.

they make a 10" length can with a 2.0" ID inlet (can probably stretch this to 2.25" if needed with a pipe expander). this would allow me to run a short amount of piping to get the can to turn out and then just jut outside the perimeter of the bike. the good part about supertrapp stuff is that you can tune it. more disks for louder and more top end, less disks for quieter and more torque.
anyone else know of any other designs that would be easy to adapt?
my other idea at this point is putting an inline resonator or something instead of the midpipe and just putting a nice looking tip on the end of the exhaust. ill have to measure it all up and look around, but im not sure if i have enough room for this.
