QUOTE Dave , it's mostly the ole back that gives out not so much the cold
Carpet on the floor
Preparation H on the piles
Some Reparil gel on the lower back and you'll be good to go Sprock OLD friend
I'm just busy building a trailer for my bike..............
I'll keep you posted
May be a useful alternative............

Wingers?? you bet! Harley.....now wait a minute!!!! Another advantage
with a lift is it becomes a handy place for all the tools, drain pans, etc.
while you are using them. Need that 14mm socket, there it is, right at waist level where you left it. Also added a 12" section of ready rod to the front wheel lock to hold a roll of paper towels. At times I get sloppy and it's nice to have them in easy reach. I'm in my fifty's and have a friend in his 80's and he's still like a kid in his shop working on bikes, with his lift table. That's what I hope to be doing, Just copying my friend Clarance.

Many moons ago when working down at the Honda shop, all they had was a wooden table with a ramp. After the bike was pushed up on the table the ramp was removed. Bike were much smaller back then however. I can't remember helping to push a Goldwing up onto the table. Just about all bike shops and still some around here still have wooden tables. Some 2X4" legs and frame and 1/2" plywood top. Cheap to build but getting a big bike up would be a pain.
I have pulled engines in my own bikes by running straps up to the rafters in the garage, to hold the bike upright. I have not done enough work on a bike to warrant a table.
Maybe Shadows trailer is not such a bad idea. You don't even have to get it running, just pull it around.

Wow so many opinions about "EVERYTHING ELSE" .... who in holy hell
brought trailers and Harleys in to this .........lol
Pete why'd ya mention the "T" word ....... gets folks all worked up and mental
and privately ya know Indy is hoping Santa gets him one
(almost) Decided I 'm getting a Titan with the ATV extensions to go with it as I have a
good sized 23 horse Garden Tractor for mowing and plowing I work on fairly
often and as Tucker sez ...... handy when you leave a tool or socket down and
it's right there.
BTW Tucker........ fair play to Clarance man..... 80 is good going !
I could go the Noah's Ark routine Tim I have a 1500lb hoist already but that
would have it's limitations and take up a ton of space ....... the lift I can stand
off to the side when not in use and working on the cars etc.

Yu could just build one'a these things in yu yard ??....
might need a ladder to get to the bugger though?? ..lol
I go with the carpet rolling around the floor style of working on my bikes ..and afterwards a warm back rub from a hot woman ...
just gotta find a willing hot woman though ..
