HiGuys it really doesn't have any trouble starting when the tank is full just when its below half & cold I have tried to open the gas cap when it was acting up but it made no difference.. believe me I tried everything evenblowing in the gas tank tryingto force fuel into the carbsIve tried turning the petcock to the reserve even shutting off the gas.
the crazy thing is once it is warm it doesn't have this problem even if the tank is almost empty..thank you again for your help its really appreciated this is a great forum

 

Well, after mistakingly riding a bike at work for an hour with the fuel cap open I can answer this one. Firstly you get a bad smell of petrol which will get you (me) looking around the bike (except at the fuel cap ). Secondly youwill hear aknocking noise as the fuel cap gets knocked up and down with vibrations. Thirdly you get a colleague come over with a stupid smirk on his face asking why you are riding with the fuel cap open!! [:@]

 

Howzit Guys ,

My bike a CBR1000FL 93 was in a serious accident , which i need to
try and sort out a couple of issues :

Haven't got the original ignition on there so now the bike seems to
be stuck on 6000 rpm / 140 k/ph

Carbs was done and still the same problem persues , please could someone assist
as to what the possible problem could be ?
