Hey Guys,

The upper fairing on my 90 CBR1000F is in pretty sad shape. I bought the bike from someone on ebay a couple of months ago and I have now fixed all of the mechanicals. But I'd really like to find an upper fairing and the instrument surround. I found one on ebay last week, requested a shipping quote from the seller, then had to go out of town for the weekend. I got back today only to find out that someone else bought the fairing before the seller and I could agree on the shipping.

If anyone knows where I can find an intact fairing, please let me know. If it is in the UK, I'm still interested. My father works for Glaxo and has friends in London that could ship it for me. Color scheme does not matter, and I don't care about scratches. Just no breaks in it.

Your best bet is probably e-Bay. I have an original windscreen from my 90 model if you need it.......cost ? Postage only. I'm always hunting on e-Bay so if you PM me your e-mail addy I can forward what I find to you direct, without having to cut, paste post etc on the Forum.

I have one for a 91 CBR1000F. It does have one small crack in it, but it is in one of the mounting holes for the windscreen, so it would be really hard to see it. It is also missing one mounting tab, but I was going to take the one off my broken fairing and plastic weld it on.

Sorry it has been so long since I replied. Have you sold this yet? If not, I could send you $190 for the fairing if that would include shipping. How would you like payment? Cashiers check? Paypal? Let me know. Now that I have all of the electrical and mechanical gremlins licked, it is time to tackle the bodywork.
