hey guys, thanks again for all the replies. 2 more questions:

1) there are so many brake lines on this thing, which one(s) should i change over to braided if i go that route

2) can anybody tell me how or point me to a guide on delinking the brake system?

thanks

If you go to braided hoses - only do the front pair - the back gets rather twitchy with a braided line on.

For de-linking - remove the front to rear lines with the secondary master cylinder and the delay valve.
Connect one line from the rear master cylinder to the rear caliper.
Connect a pair of lines from the front master cylinder to the calipers.

Then make a block to replace the secondary master cylinder you removed from the fork leg.

Lots of discussion about de-linking here - https://cbrforum.com/forum/showthrea...t=79846&page=3
