Mt Rainier day ride

RE: Mt Rainier day ride
There was a program back in the late 1960's where BMW had tours in Europe. You paid X amount of $$ and you owned the BMW in the end. It is to bad that programs like that don't still exist on either side of the pond. My parents were going to do it but never did. I remember how jealous my brothers and I were because we couldn’t go.
If you know of any Vikings heading this way, have them bring an extra helmet with horns on it and I will join up with them.

I sure will.
In fact a lot of my mates have been in the US. On hollyday or to study "over there" in a exchange program... The states is rather popular in Denmark.
Actually there is a danish company that plans biking trips across the states on a Harley. You just pay XXX USD at the firm and they provide you with a Harley, the plan the trip, they take care of your luggage and they see to that you have a place to sleep.
It's a way of dooing it, but it aint the old viking way
Grab a boat, go west until you hit land. Then go seek and d...... [sm=crossbonesgif.gif] (that meaning; seek out some CBR lovin' americans and drink a beer with'em)

Those pictures look´s great man! Reminds me of my trip to the States (not on bike), when visiting the Yellowstone National Park. I actually have a friend who has been to the States twice with his bike, touring from New York to California! He shipped it in a big container together with his friends bikes, it was quite a process! I have also met an American gentleman here in Sweden at our club house who was touring Europe on his own bike, at an age of over 80! A man of steel...
