Default Moving on...

I've decided to pull the trigger on a C-14, so the CBR1000F went on it's way this past weekend. It's a great bike, but I want something more tour-ish, so I had to say goodbye. I've enjoyed hanging around here, and I've always wanted a CBR1100XX, so you might see me yet

BTW I have a couple of bits left over that you guys might be interested in (seat, Givi, etc.) so check out the blassified ads if you're interrested.

Later!

Hate to see you go! The guy I bought my Hurricane from a few years ago recently bought a Concours. Maybe a pattern there. LOL Do us a favor, and give us your riding impression of the Concours after you get a few miles under your belt!

Hey:

C-14? So we talking a $10,000 Telescope, Celestron C-14 A Telescopes. 91037-XLT, 91038-XLT. Celestron Telescopes.., a $3,000 Rifle (What comes to My mind), a $2,000 Sailing boat (Chrysler Dagger C-14) or a Kaw Concours 14.
If its the latter I have 4 good Mates that ride them, and they all came from racing/performance bike backgrounds and find the 14 a great all rounder. Sorry to see you go though, I am sure your knowledge and experience will be missed here. Good Luck with your new toy. After the KAW14 you will not be happy with a Blkbird, but maybe another CBR1000F latter on.

Thanks for the nice thoughts...the XX would be in addition to, not instead of the C-14. They're cheap enough now thatit's not impractical to have both. I've never been a sportbike-on-the-street guy, but an XX is sport-ish enough to be fun.

Hate to see ya go, Dave, but I hope you enjoy the Concours. My buddy used to be an FZR/SV/VFR guy, but recently switched to a newer FJR and he likes it a lot. They're nice bikes, too.

We'll miss your input. Enjoy the new ride but keep us all informed.
