Default Misfire cold header pipe colder 1

Hi all

I have a 91 f-M CBR with a misfire. I have adjusted inlet valves as were tight. Replaced plugs.

no1 plugs sparks how can I prove that (although there is fuel in the float chamber) the carb is working.

from cold on start up the headers 2,3,4 heat up where no 1 doesn’t.

compression test to do however has been done before and was ok, I’m suspecting the spark unit on the right hand side rear panel. Has anyone had such

a issue.

Have a look at the spark plug of the cylinder in question after running the motor for a few minutes. Is it wet? Is it black or is it normal colour?

if it's not wet, then there's no fuel coming in. If it's wet and black, it's firing but it's too rich. If it's wet and normal colour, it's not firing at all.

Cheers,

Dennis

I think I’ve sorted it now. Inlet valves tight and carb balance sweet now
