Default Making the seat more comfortable?

Has anyone tried to open up the original seat and put something more in there?
As I earlier posted, I have problems after about an hour of driving.

Yep! The seat is to soft and angles tward the front. I use to get wedgies after 50 or so miles. I went with a Corbin and love it. If you want to keep you origanl seat but want it reworked, you can send it out to Sarget Seats. I think they do the best job reworking seats. They widen and stiffen them. Plan on spending more $$$$ on Seargent though. You get what you pay for.

Just getting the original seat re-foamed can make a huge difference. I had mine done. I got it widened and a ridge put it to stop me sliding back. I just used good quality new foam. If I had the $$$ I would have used Air Hawk. Some people use Gel Pads, but they can go off.

When I go on long trips I just throw an off cut of Long Haired Sheepskin on as well.

Thank you for your replies!

Did you do this by yourself?
Can you in that case describe the procedure?

Is this the one you are talking about?

Regarding TimBucTwo´s answer. It seams hard to order it from Sweden directly from USA. I can order it from Germany but then it´s 399 Euro

I paid somebody to do the refoaming.

I gave em pics of a corbin and said that I want it wide and dished out and they did it. The vinyl didn't look as good as it was a single piece.

Yep thats the airhawk system there. But I am too poor for that as everything is expensive in this country

The AirHawk solved my problem.
Thanks for the tip..Trips.

For long trips it really makes the difference.
For advanced driving its not the best because you loose the feeling of controling the bike with your butt.

I just took my pan into a local guy and he fit it to my shinny butt.
