Main jet suggestions
I'm intrested to get your suggestions for main jets, to begin with after change of air filter and the complete exhaust system. KN air filter and a Laser 4-2-1 sport system will be used. I know i have to tune the carbs anyway, but advices for new jets are appreciated since I dont want to buy the full range. Presents main jets on my stock bike are #122. There are already adjustable needles on the bike so they can be set after finding the right main jets.
Also, have any of you tried to improve the intake air flow? I know that some Suzuki 1100 owners remove the air inlet ducts on their bikes to increase airflow to some degree.

RE: Main jet suggestions
I have 132 mains, 42 slow, and 2 down on the needle on my 88 bike with 95 carbs,Wiseco bore kit, ported head, single K&N, OMT cams,
V&H ignition & pipe with micron end @ 500 ft above sea level.
I had the 124/40/1 dwn, with 88 stock pipe, K&N single and 95 carbs.(no electric fuel pump) and went to 126/42/1dwn with Yosh pipe added
Bike ran fine at all speeds and still does with upgrades just a lot quicker. mpg went from in the 45-53 mpg range(124) to 32-40 mpg range,(NOW)
and no heat problems in traffic in 100+ summer heat, gearing is 18/46t 530,
1/4 times 10.3(best) range @ 125 mph (extended arm and slick, 15/46t gearing and 39mm FCR carbs and electric pump installed)
71 deg temp with 8 mph tail wind. bike had 12,000 on it and 500 miles on engine rebuild and put a tricked out 900rr, a busa and zx11 on the trailer
that nite, before being crushed by a zx12 on NOS. my 10.6 to his 9.1 after wheelie
I hope this helps as a starting point for you and good luck

RE: Main jet suggestions
Thanks a lot, very useful information. I hope to get others experiences to, but can already see that around 125 will do fine as a starting point, that was also the jet size on a finnish bike with replaced exhaust wich is reported by Kaasari in another thread here.

Me too. mine's a '94 with pods & 4 into 1 V&H. Standard 122's & also 142.5's! tried but don't work. found 128's so will give them a go. (42 pilots) air/fuel screw 2.5 turns out.
