Generally speaking and not just with Delkevics but any pipes that replace stock and
have more flow and less back pressure require a set of larger jets and or shims as I
found out when I had one of my bikes on the Dyno last week.
Stock jets with hi flow pipes ='s lean running at mid to high rpm and less ponies as a
result
Just got two jet kits with shims yesterday and also found two racks of carbs locally
for short $$ - going to kit them out and install soon.

@ Twig,
I'm sure that what Sprock has said is correct, and I suspect my bike may have been running a little rich to start with .... all I can say is that it now runs sweet and crisp, with no flat spots, all the way up to the redline.... pulls like a train too! I'll no doubt, have it checked on a dyno soon... just to be sure, tho I'm really happy with them and have no regrets whatsoever.
PS .... if you do go ahead and get a pair, just check that your collector box isn't rotten first ( mine's stainless, so wasn't an issue..... otherwise, you might find you have extra expense.....

shakey
