Still Looking?
Have you found your replacement yet?
I recently picked up a '99 Blackbird. Unfortunately, I haven't had the weather yet to ride it. My original intentions were, and still are to ride the bike and sell it in the summer. However, having not yet experienced the raw power and modern technology (ie. fuel injection) of the newer bike, I may be persuaded otherwise.
Come spring, I may be inclined to part with my '90 1000F in silver/grey. It is mint (11K miles) and besides the Vance&Hines exhaust and missing center stand, it is all original (It still has the factory decals on the gas tank).
Regards

You guys might get a kick out of this. I posted a couple in another thread so they may be repeats, but....
It's a few pics of mine on the track with 90,000 miles on it, all original, even the fork seals. It was a good bike. When I crashed it, on the street, it had 122,000. By then it had new fork seals but was still on the original rear shock. That was in the fastest group and not running in the back of that. Not bad for a 15 year old stock, heavy, bike. They REALLY are a nice all arounder. The pipe covers and centerstand are removed only for the track, for corner clearance.

Your bike looks very much like Brant Stinedurf's bike from Arizona (I think) he's also just bought a 99 Blackbird......?

RE: Still Looking?
Sorry for the Confusion
Shadow this thread was originally started back in 2005. It popped up when I was looking for the valve adjustment thread and just had to comment on it. But I'm sure some other members might be interested in your generous offer. I sure could have used a few of them. Back when this happened it was almost enough to make me stop riding
