Default 88 1000f

Hello I just bought my first 1000f.... barn find. Have to paint it, clean tank, carbs and then see whats what. I always wanted one of these but was always too cheap :-)

I will upload some pics of it before and after (when after gets here)

Plenty of help on here , we're all keen to see these old girls put back on the road .

If you need any help finding parts or some advice just shout Also let us know where you are , can help us to find parts that are local to you.

Welcome Vapor40. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. I'm in roughly the same situation. I parked up in 1999 and only started to get her road worthy again the other year. My advantage is I knew she ran ok back in 1999. I'm currently finding no end of crud in the fuel system ( see my carb idle thread ) . Anyway..

How long had she been standing ? Is she complete ?
How long do you think it will take ?
