Just bought a 1991 CBR 1000F from a guy in Ohio and I have the great task of going to pick it up.
It will be an 8hr drive to pick her up....Ugggh I am not looking foward to that.[:'(]
But I have a Short bed Chevy S-10 Pick up.
Will this bike fit in the bed of the truck with the tailgate down?

Ready for some math? The distance between axles is 59 inches. The front tire is 120/70 by 17, and the rear is 170/60 by 17. But the front can be pivoted. And you can put the bike in the bed diagonally. You could even let the air out of the tires. Use lots of tiedowns and blankets to prevent rubbing. Good luck.

YAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got it!!!!!!!!!!!ohboyohboyohboy!!!!!!!!!! It'l fit fine. if you can find some of those web straps, about 1 1/2 foot long, they clear the fairing better. thus keeping the nasty hooks and ratchet/ slider things away from fairing. I hook into the upper clamp /clipon area as i couldn't find a good spot on the bars around the controls. run a short while and recheck tie downs. try not to drool!!!!!!!!Ilove my bike, you'll love yours too!!!!!
