I'm in the middle of replacing my front wheel. It's a little egg shaped but that's another story. I picked up a used wheel on e-bay and have new bearings and seals. I'm considering putting on new discs too instead of transfering the old ones. I'm looking at the EBC's discs since I'm using their double H pads. Anyone out there tried these? Do they provide more friction than stock? They are a lot cheaper than OEM.

 

Yes they are cheaper than OEM ($170 something EBC vs $300+ for OEM). Don't forget to replace the little paper bushings when replacing the discs. I didn't have have a slight pulsing on my front brakes. (Yes I have checked, no the disc isn't warped.) The EBC disc along with the HH pads dramatically improved my braking time.
