left front brake reservoir not bleeding

left front brake reservoir not bleeding
I've been bleeding all the brakes this weekend (94 model) and replacing the fluid. But the left front reservoir won't drain/bleed.
I loosened the upper nipple on the left frontcaliper, and also the capped allen bolt. But when I bleed the right side front reservoir goes down.
I was thinking a blocked hose?
Theories?
Thanks

RE: left front brake reservoir not bleeding
If you're talking about the left front reservoir on your left handlebar - that's for the clutch......
There's also a specific sequence for bleeding brakes on the DCBS bikes. Check the manual:

OR

Hope this helps........

RE: left front brake reservoir not bleeding
Ah, that's cruel, Pacojoseph !
BTW, selecw, follow the bleed sequence in the manual, or your brakes won't work properly !
It's IMPORTANT
Your rear brake reservoir is behind the middle panel on the rhs of the bike, as far as I know.......
mine is an earlier model, so not sure.

RE: left front brake reservoir not bleeding
There are three reservoirs on the bike. On the top right handle bar is the front calipers. To the left is the hydrolic clutch reservoir. Down behind the rear brake peddle is the rear caliper reservoir.
Read this thread to learn how the linked system works.

Bleeding steps are as follows;
loosen the orifice bolt by backing it out against the snap ring and then stop.
using the lever:
bleed the right front caliper from theupper bleed valve.
bleed the left front caliper from theupper bleed valve.
using the pedal:
bleed the front right caliper from the lower valve.
bleed the front left caliper from the lower valve.
bleed the rear caliper from the lower bleed valve
bleed the rear caliper form the upper bleed velve.
tighten the orifice bolt. Do not over tighten it.
Note: You need to keep adding fluid to the reservoir or it will run dry. If this happens you start all over.
