Did you read the whole thing TBT ? Like Permatex #1 it's a sealant more than an
actual gasket maker and it specifically states diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel.
but maybe not that ethanol stuff you love so much lol
I have not used it yet as I went with the Permatex Form A Gasket Sealant #1 ----
which cures hard and has sealed up the bowls tighter that a gnats azzz
As I said I refuse to spend nearly 100 bucks on 4 new gaskets as it would be
like buying 4 rubber bands for 25 bucks a piece - ya just dont need to do it ! simple
Just put 425 miles on the 93 with the "new" carbs and jet kits - no leaks ! and
there won't be until I crack them open again in maybe 2 years from now
The rejetted carbs for the 1990 - I will try the PLS 2 on and I expect it too will work
just fine as it's not silicone based

1) Yup pulled them out put a bead of #1 sealant in the "U" put gasket back
in and gave her a skin coat over the top , torqued right down and let
cure 24 hours until residue on outside went from dark reddish brown
to a nice light maple color.
2) Happy to oblige
