Default Jumping your CBR ?? not a good idea huh

hey everyone i remeber the posts about not wheelieing your cbr

so i assume you guys dont condone jumping your cbr on those nice country roads with the nice bump in the middle that seems to shoot yea pretty well at about 80.mph.

I've had mine airborne at about 200kph when I went over a bridge and I realised the bridge was higher than the road. Only went airbourne for about 5m though. Still scared the **** outta me.

I wouldn't suggest it. I've done it but it's a bit scary with such a heavy bike. You don't have much say in path selection once in the air with such mass between your legs. I wheelie my bike quite often and have not had to replace a seal due to them yet...

how long is how long heavy cbr? hmmm still the stearing berrings....

Well, for the past 6 months or so I'm been lifting the front more and more often as my confidence builds. For the last 2 months straight I've been practicing every morning in front of work and I have ABUSED the front end! LOL. I know it's only a matter of time before I get a leak but I'm suprised how long the seals have held up. When I get scared, there's nothing graceful about how the front end comes back down.
