Haha, saw this thread as well myself. I love the CBR but the plastics on mine unfortunately are a bit of a nightmare, so rather than damage them any nore I'm going the naked route, probably not the best looking bike with her kit off, but needs must. At least I won't be doing anything to her that will stop her being returned to original. Biggest problem at the moment is cleaning off 24 years of crud but I'm getting there. When she's done, (if she looks reasonably OK), I'll post some pics.

Well all I can say is when you are going naked with a street look then a Spiegler type
setup won't be all that unusual looking in the grand scheme of things imo.
