Default ignition switch on 93 model

I spliced the 3 ignition wires back together just under the key switch on my Hurricane after the thieves tried to hot wire it a couple of months ago. Then I started having problems with the switch due to a bad conncetion. This weekend I pulled the swich back off and wired it back tgether again, but I noticed this wiring harnass is getting a lot of movement with the handle bars. I dont think my splice job is going to hold up to all that movement.

I looked on a couple of microfiche sites and it appears the wiring harnass attached to the switch will sperate from the switch. That would be a life saver to me if it would(and a lot cheaper) because I only need a new harnass. By some miricale have any of you had any experience with this? When I was working on the switch I didnt see any place to unplug or unscrew the harnass from the switch.

Maybe I can post the microfiche picture if I can figure out how.

Thanks guys!

Here's a picture of the 93-95 ignition - clearly has a connector block on it.
Hope this helps ! It's probably near the major fuse box................

Thank you Shadow!

I will pull it off this weekend and make sure it disconnects. That will save me from having to buy the whole switch and have 2 different keys to use. And save me on money too!! The economy is really bad in the US now and Im now making 20,000 less a year!!

Rode it in to work today. Wow!! It was nice getting back on it. I have an FZ1 that I love riding also, but when I get back on the Hurricane Im reminded how sweet of a bike it actually is!!
