TTTTist did your chain slacken (loosen) up on ya and how's you front sprocket ?

I have no idea about the chain...I stopped for a ciggy half way back, and when I pulled off was when I started to hear the knocking.
As for the front sprocket....whats that?!?!??! ( Bear in mind Im a noob when it comes to motorcycle parts and maintainence! lol )

tattoo, the chain is driven by a front sprocket.... which in turn drives the rear sprocket on the rear wheel.
Just like a bicycle with a big motor... lol..

The front sprocket has a cover over it, though, and you can't see it from the outside like you can the rear one.
It's on the left side of the motor.

How much oil is in the motor??

You can see a chain and a gear. What do we suppose the rest of the chain does under that part where it goes to hide?

How's that?

Ive not long done an oil change and when I checked the oil level was fine.

Im going to ride the bike to work this morning and see how it is....and have a look at the Haynes manual inbetween customers lol If I cant figure out what to do, I think it may be another trip to the garage .....I gather chain/sprocket issue's are expensive to repair???
