How to wire your 1000f street fighter
#2
I rewired mine essentially in reverse. (if that makes sense?)
I left the headlight and instrument wiring where it was but moved the relays, fuses and all the other stuff to the tail section. I also went for a gel battery in the tail instead of the original site. I dont have pics yet but can get some for you if you want later.
Good Luck.

Well, I'm sorry, but unfortunatly this is kinda' wrong spot to ask for streetfighter-advice. Most of us has ever, would ever do streetfighting a 1000 F. Although, some has been fairly successfull, do a search on "streetfighter". Respect to those that have succeeded, because the 1000 F isn't the best bike to streetfight.
Most of us here would go through fire and hell restoring a crashed bike to stock apperance. Or sell it as spare parts, if it's unsalvageable.
Maybe, it shines through that I'm allergic to streetfighted 1000 F:s?

just did this last week !
Hey, hope i'm not too late to help out. i just did this to my bike last week, i'm also doing a fighter. the basic idea is to get everything inbetween the engine and the gas tank. i zip-tied all the wires across that bar that connects the tow sides of the fram and ran wires for headlight, signals, etc, through the front of the frame. Hope this helps ! I'm kindof figuring things out as i go aswell.

The wires and quite a bit of tubing / lines ect ...are quite visible on these in the std fully usually fully covered locations ..(by the plastic side covers )
I think you will just have to use your imagination and try to tie them on as discretely as you can , because they ain't hidden much usually
and I am sorry that it sounds like we don't give a **** ...we actually do , but your question is not that applicable to near all the members here on the Hurricane boards as we run mostly full stock plastics ...
We cant answer what we either do not know or have never needed to do ourselves before ....
good luck ... and if that is both your member user names? ..please only use one ..... or one will be torched to the ground by us ...LOL
