I'm late to this party and never trailered mine. However, I know a bloke who put an almost brand new Gixxer on a trailer and put straps on the grips. One of the grips came off and the bike fell over . Holes in the fairing and much sadness. Could have been worse though. It didn't fall inwards and hit his mate's TL1000!

"soft loops" from Wally World $2.69 ........I'm good to go. If the weather keeps at it

I know this thread is old but what about putting a bike in a UHAUL trailer? Is it the same principles?

But yes...it's the same principle. Tell them that the uhaul needs to have tie-downs.

Absolutely. My bike's been in the back of a pickup twice. Once on the 18hr drive to pick it up..... and once when sprock wanted everyone to think he had a sweet bike like mine. lol...

I let him have his day in the sun.
I'm a good friend.

Depending upon what happens with work I am either moving to the San Diego area or go back to Minnesota for a little while so I have to move all of my stuff which isn't a whole lot but MN is a 2000MI 26hr drive so not sure what route I want to take yet.
