Hiding the big ugly

Hiding the big ugly
Hey! That big ugly license light and that big ugly rear fender finally got to me. After looking at other memberā€™s bikes that had rear work done to them, I just had to do something.
I shortened the fender and hid the original license light up under the seat cowl.
I was able to keep my aftermarket helmet holders also. It took about an hour and finnal cost was $0.00
I like the new look. What do you think?

RE: Hiding the big ugly
R1000- Thanks
Illushum- The Helmet Guardian that I have I cut down. I hacksawed the ends and rounded the corners with a file. Re-painted the ends and re-drill for the lock to fit. Before I cut it down it had my stock fender flying all over the place. Don't get chrome. My brother's chrome is peeling off.

dad- Shut uuuuuup! Hey! I just wanted to see how many hits I could get with a catchy title.
Stinky-Way to easy of a job. I took a hacksaw and laied it against the turn signal using it as a guide and cut. I used a 1"hole saw and a smaller drill bit to make my three holes for the light. I pulled the light apart and used a 90 degree philips to turn the screw heads. You have to bent the ground tab 90 degrees for clearance. No washers needed. I did leave some fender behind the plate.
EDIT: spelling of corse. Also: No I do not sleep with my trusty hacksaw under my pillow.
