Anyone knows wherethis part is locted in the engine?

 

If this is the drive chain tensioner then is it maybe on the upper surface of the swingarm?? My bikes a lot older so doesn't look like this one.

 

It looks like the starter clutch tensioner.

ejad, you are correct. They list it under starter clutch, same thing here, #4 is the starter clutch and #8 is your part.

Thanks guys! This and another guide came with my replacements parts. I did eventuallydid figure out that it wasn't part of the timing chaing tensioner system but still wanted to know what it was for.
