As usual, this info will come too late to be of use. However, Bikebandit.com has that part. part #610401. My experience is that this is a part that does wear out from time to time. If I were smart, I would buy one or two and have them when I needed them. From time to time I've thought the same way about wives; but alas, I don't have any spares of them either.

Thanks Ekelman,
I'm going down to my local stealer now to price these. Bike Bandit are charging almost $25 each plus postage. I'll see how it works out getting them here and post back. Cheers.

I've done a bit of looking on US sites Bordo, but all around the $24/25 USD mark each. Keep in touch as to how you go with local and I'll do a bit more of a search later today.

Cheers, SB

Hey:

It looks like around $70 USD plus shipping for the stainless Ts, is the best they can do ATT.

That is still less than 3 plastic ones, and me I was on my 2nd burst one when I had these made.

This is a permenant solution as they exceed anything psi pressure wise, a coolant system could ever throw at it, and outlast any hose, the new weak link.

I'll need a count on how many are truly interested in this before he does a production run. Probably the last run for a long while if ever again. As the Fab shop makes no profit on these (only labor) and it takes for the team labor this: approx 1 hr machine work, 1hr TIG welding billing wise, plus materials and stainless stock. These guys do this in lull times to keep the labor count up, and break up the production Fab side boredom at a reasonable $30 USD an hour for either side.
Just to be clear I do not make anything on this, this is done as a fellow enthusiast helping keep a fellow bikers 89 plus CBR1000F ride going, eliminating one less weak link, nothing more, nothing less.

We thought about doing them in a aluminum alloy but for the diff in price, this stainless has no equal.

Let me know

Dub

Yes, was to be Ti alloy but already have extra stainless stock so instead of recycling to the scrap yard we will use it on these. A little longer than the 1.0 & 2.0 ver you and I have.

Should be GTG.

I'm in for one Dub for sure. Seb the plastic ones at my stealer are $30 each including freight etc. Cheaper than Ebay ( $25.15 plus $17 postage ) and US online stores once you consider the inflated postage prices. One lot wanted $45 USD to post 2 over. I'm happy to pay the extra for the SS one that Dub can get us though considering it will last longer than either I or the bike will. To keep postage prices down to Seb I'm happy for Dub to send them to me or you and we can then send it to the other guy for not much I'm sure mate. Cheers.
