Default Heated Clothing and the 1kf?

I commute to work on my '91 CBR1000f. It's not far, but I can't seem to keep warm. Last night, wearing a Tour Master 3/4 length jacket, TM Carbolex pants, fleece sweater, Knox "windproof" balaclava, and TM Scarab gloves, I was cold. Of course, on a fifteen-mile ride, it's not a problem, but on longer rides it would be. I got electric gloves, and they keep my hands warm, but I didn't wear them yesterday because the forecast low was only 50 degrees F. Turns out 50 degrees was quite cold enough. I live in middle Georgia, and the high humidity makes it seem colder, I think. Of course, the 80-mph hurricane idle speed doesn't help the situation much ;-)

So my question is: Will my beloved behemoth's charging system handle a heated jacket liner and pants? First Gear produces both 90-watt and 65-watt jacket liners. Would either one overtax the system? Anybody use this stuff on their 1kf?
