Smile Happy Days

As some of you will remember, a few weeks ago I had a front wheel blow out and damagd me cane. It had a bit of damage ie left clipp on left fairing damage and screen. Well good news is after a couple of weeks of negotiating I have managed to get myself a bit of a bagain. A complete 88 in near imaculate condition with a brand new stainless four into one Laser system and carbon can, for the bargain price of £150. It's only got 32,000 miles on the clock and has been stored for 6 years because the chap died. His wife just wants it gone now and I am the lucky guy to be in the right place at the right time.
Will be picking it up next week, cant believe my luck and cant waite to get on and ride a cbr again. The wing is good but miss the speed and handling in the twisties. Will put some photo's on when we pick it up.

As a confirmed cheapskate I recognise a bargain when I see one! I salute you Wolfman!

Hope she's been well stored and doesn't take too much trouble to get her running well.

Thanks guys, Icold'nt believe my luck either but she phoned a local bike braker and he offered her £125 so I said I would give her £150 and she said yes. Her husband bought the bike when it was a year old and it was his baby, so it's been looked after. He bought the exhaust which cost £605 and took the engine out while he was waiting for it to arrive to fit a new starter chain cos it was making a little bit of a noise. while it was apart he had a heart attack and died. So Ive got to put the engine back in. It's got braided hoses on and the pannels are unmarked. Will be unteresting to hear it when it's rebuilt as it's only got 30,000 mile or there abouts on. Should be like new, will put lots of photo's on when I get it home. It might even be worth putting in for ride of the month.
