I got a set of foamies a while back they were too fat and the feel really sucked bad
took them off and put 'em on the kids scooter where they should have gone in the
first place ....... looking for some gel ones and a set of genmar risers soon.

I have heard good reports about GRIP PUPPIES

A kind of thin gel cover that goes over your standard grips.

Anyone tried them ?

i am currently running RENTHAL medium compound road grips - nice feel to them.

Must be a UK thing? Only one ebay listing, and it's from across the pond. Look cool, though.
Plus the listing pic is funny as hell.... LOL..

Question

These are the grips that I have, I like them. Do you think maybe that this should be a glove thing? Or a combo of both grips and gloves? I really didn't want to . Just suggesting...

someone swapped the stock end weights on mine for some "stylish" aluminium one and after about 30 mins my hands would go numb. i added some steel shot in the existing bars and it seems to help. either that or the nerve damage is setting in

I have large hands,(very large) size 12/13 (sizeXXXL in A Star gloves)
I find running 4 or 5 layers of masking tape on the bars, fitting std grips on top gives them a bit more width, and helps a bit with vibration.
I'm going to ask a friend of mine with a machine shop if he'll make me a pair of tungsten bar ends. That'll do it for sure !
I'd be keen to hear more about those gel grips, guys....
It's not that I have much vibration, but .......

Hi I fitted the new grips last summer and they are a lot better than the grips that came off, mind you, thats not hard as they were totally knackered. Thinks they might have been the originals. They feels good look good and are easy to grip, got them from a company on ebay and they were cheaper than honda wanted for standard ones.
I have foam grips on my Goldwing, comfort wise they are fine but if it rains, they soak up the water and retain it for quite a while. Next day you go out with dry glove and ten minutes later wet gloves oh joy
