Default Gravity Chain Oiler

I just stumbled across this guys site and he made a automatic chain oiler. being a newbie, I don't know of if this is common practice or unique. Here is the link

Thanks for sharing - Foodman's been on the Forum before, and his oiler does work, but it's function is better than its form (it works but it's ugly) There are better ways to mount the unit, using the side pod - looks much neater.

I made an oiler but didn't like it....I use a spray grease designed for the worm drive on automated rollup garage doors - works well and doesn't "throw" at high speeds.X link chain now been on the bike for 2 years - minimal stretching. Clean regularly with paraffin and regrease.
