What would be the gearing to run 220k at 10500 in top for track rides.

R1000 has it right (again). Maybe Dad can offer some pointers on track days - he's done a bunch of them and has pics (thanks Dad) May also offer some advice on sprocketing - maybe send him a PM ?

OK, but I don't recommend such a brutal gearing. It willmay make the bike very touchy and there is reallyno need to use all gears on track, especially if the track is short.

For those who may not have seen this yet, here's the Gearing Commander:

http://www.gearingcommander.com/

At the present time, only the '87-'88 1000F models are in their database. I didn't have all the basic info required to enter the later models into their database, or I would have done it already. If anyone has that info readily available, and can confirm its accuracy as they require, why not be a sport and send it to them. Just click "add bike" at the top. This looks like it would be a very useful resource to have pinned on the forum when it comes to these sprocket/gearing discussions, with all the info that can be extrapolated oncea bike's stock data is in the database.
