Default Gift from an ex CBR rider

Me and a few friends rode to a car show last weekend for the annual boys weekend away, while there an ex cbr rider approched me and started talking about how much he missed the bike and how much fun he had on it , we got onto the subject of parts and led to the radiater grill cover, and that i haven't been able to find 1 for the bike , this is where my weekend got better , he had had1 custom made by a friend on a machine made for his bike and he had 1 possibly 2 spare at home , so i pased on my address and hoped he would remember , well a few days after i had a package through the door 2 rad covers, alloy both sides with a resin in between , i have fitted 1 on my bike and it looks great , im now looking into using the other as a template and seeing if i can get another made in stainless , if i can and a few are interested i may be able to post a few out at the cost of the grill making and postage , this all depends if i can find someone to copy the 1 i have and not rip my arm of in the cost here are some pics of it ?

That is a very cool (and i hope very cooling as well ) cover.

Now, modify the rest of the bike to a streetfighter so you can show this great cover to the world.......LOL

That's a great looking cover, but with our temps in summer here getting up into the 40's C, I'd still be a bit concerned how it would perform in traffic. Murphy's law also says that the rock you pick up will always go through the CBR open bit...........[X(]
How did you mod the one you used - bigger holes ?

With the grill mesh as thin as it was i cant see it doing any good on there as it is lol , i modded it by cutting the bottom away to match the shape the original mesh is just to allow that bit more air through , i know if i tryed drilling it all out to match i would mess it up so i used the air cutter in work and just cut it out ,

Unless the rads changed through the years i cant see it being any differance in fitting?
