Thanks Henry.

OK. Went to the parts place and bought two kinds of SeaFoam. One goes in the tank and one squirts in the intake. Which do I use when?

Howdy, Joe!

The liquid stuff in the can (not the spray) is what you would use for your fuel system.

But.... it's not going to do much if you have fuel pouring out of your carbs.
The big thing is to locate the source of the leak and fix it.
Did your oil have a bunch of fuel in it when you checked? Did you locate where the fuel is leaking from?

While I like seafoam.... and use it a couple times a year in my bikes for carb maintenance.... it would be miraculous if it stopped a leak unless it was a slow drip past a seat or something.

Don't leave us hanging, House!

It's unfortunate that you live so far. I'd come over and rip it apart.

had the same problem ... i cleaned the carbs , replaced spark plugs , and finally got her started . shameful part is , mechanics here in south florida charge $250 to $400 for carb cleaning . i saved 394 dollars and bought my own carb cleaner for $6 and did it myself .

More neglect. Haven't got a Rountuit, which I understand is a critical component.
