First off, hello to everyone. I am new to the forum, andI wondering what size are the gas tank bolts and the tank hinge. I am a proud new owner of a 95 1kf that I am picking up on saturday, but i need fuel tank bolts for it. It is my first bike, and I was able to get it for $400 (what a steal). The previous owner did a stoppie and went over the bars, so it has no fairings or gauges, but it didn't hurt anything else. it's been sitting at a local shop for three months, it just needs a battery and a petcock vaccum line. I'll prolly just make it somewhat of a streetfighter since it is my first bike. But if anyone knows what size those bolts are I would greatly appreciate it. and I will post up pics when I get them. Thank's in advance.

Welcome to the Forum
Paco's quite correct, (thanks PacoJ) drawing says 25 mm but I'd suggest
2 off 6mm x20/25MM Front. I'd use Alan heads - easier to get in & out.Stainless is best.Std bolt has 7mm head which is a pig to work with in the confined space. Don't forget the rubber inserts and washers too, as per Paco's drawing. If you need photo's - just ask.
1 off 6mmx (about)75mm (3 inch) Anodised or cadmium plated for long life for the rear.

If it's your first bike, you'll probably need a workshop manual.
Go to http://members.iinet.net.au/~cbr/Hon...Manual.pdf>
or
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/midlife/i...ice_Manual.pdf
and download it.size about 11 mb, but you'll find it useful.
If you need expanded pictures and microfiches, with part no's they too are available.
Good luck with your new baby.
