G'Day Blue !
Good idea on the cheap oil flush.
Also, when changing the oil, I hit the starter for a second with the kill switch off to push the old dirty oil out of the oil pump, and reduce contamination of your new oil.....

I did the starter, with 2 small side effects. Before turning the motor over I put a few ounces of Marvles Mystery Oil in and let it seep through, or so I thought.

Now come the side effects. My face and ceiling got a nice even coat of Marvels. (where is that stupidest thing I have ever done thread?) Now the good side effect. All the grey faded control covers LOVED the Marvels. They look new! he he

Will run some cheap-o through 1st.

Thanks again guys.

Patrick

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH ! The Marvel mystery oil facewash he he he.....
Sorry, but I can picture the scene, Motley covered in fine oil, garage too, he he giggle snort.
A friend recently drowned his jetski, removed the plugs, and spun it up just as I was looking at the motor (I swear he did it on purpose) Result, me covered in oily salt water and sand. Still have water in my ears....
