Default FS 1987 CBR 1000F $2,000

ok, so i'm going to sell her.

run down:
1987 cbr 1000f
cutsom paint (2006 lambo blue with etalic flake silver stripes down middle).
45,390 miles
-1F,+2R
F1-r dual slip ons (scratches)
needs new rear tire
carbs need cleaning
small tear in seat
some zip ties here and there
does have CCT rattle
small imperfections in body work/paint
would recommend new fork seals
loacted in San Angelo Texas 76904

I have taken this bike on 2 "distance" trips. The first trip was about 400 miles (round trip) and the second was about 140 miles round trip. It handles very nice and is comfortable as most of you already know. I will be placing the bike on e-bay in about a week and also in the local paper. I just wanted to give you guys a chance to see it first and kinda get a feeler of how this will go for me. I do have videos of the bike as well by request only.

one more thing. clean title, but not in my name. title was signed by previous owner (i have original bill of sale) and then i signed it also, but since the tags were still good for another 10 months, i decided to wait. reg. expired in sep and inspect will expire in november.

And that, my friends, is the reason why you should never leave the plate on a vehicle when you sell it. [sm=smiley24.gif]

You might as well go ahead and do the title. You owe taxes on your purchase. [&:] The new buyer is not going to want to pay your taxes and his. Since you signed the title as well, the tag agency probably won't accept it from the person you sell it to. I purchased my bike from someone in MN under the same circumstances. I had to send the title back to them and they had to get the title in their name before I could put into mine. What a pain. Whole process took about 3 months.

actually in TEXAS all they have to do is sign 2 peices of paper. 1 being the title. 2 being a form with the other 2 parties signatures on it as well (which I have). Also, they (new owner) is not responsible for any taxes excpet the percentag of what THEY bought the bike for. How do i know? Cause i sold the bike today and did just that. $2,300. Just wanted to say thanks for evryone thats been helpful on this site and ALSO. . . .thanks for everone in subject that was sooooo supporting. ok, bye
