Interesting comments.

I've been considering getting an updated bike. I've considered the Blackbird, K1300S and the ZX14 but none of them do it for me. The K1300S is closest but, it is so much like my Hurricane that I can't see why I'd spend the money on it. The VFR12 has some potential, it'll be interesting to see what its like when it hits production.

In the meantime, I'm looking for a VFR800 for my wife so I'll get to ride that anytime I want anyways.

I also agree with the ST1300 comments. Seems too much like an old Gold Wing to me.

A friend of mine had a ST1300 until a lady pulled out in front of him and he T-boned her.
Before the ST1300 he had a Goldwing. When he first got the ST1300 he hated the Bars and saddle so he changed them. He also commented that it felt as heavy as the Goldwing at times.
