FJ rear end - will an FK/FL fit ?
Hi from an old guy in the UK. I have a cbr1000fj please do`es any one know if a swing arm caliper rim and suspension unit from a 91 fm will fit ? If so what mods are required. I have a complete rear end from a 1991 bike. And I would like to fit to my fj if possible. Thanks Steve.

Must be the snow, slowing you down, Dylan..............
Maybe the man could use some manuals

Look at blackbears - the manual for the F/h F/j is there..........
ignore the Russian cyrillics - it's in English....

Yes you were right it was a straight bolt on with the later caliper etc I got the entire rear end from a guy in kent for £90 delivered. As he only bought the bike for the engine.

Glad to hear you got it bolted up. As far as the sprockets, that's fine, too. I run a 44t on the rear of mine. It all just depends on the gearing you'd like...accel vs. top speed. However, just a tooth won't really make a noticeable difference.
You can post pics a couple different ways. You can upload them to a photo hosting sight like photobucket and then paste the link into your post.... or you can start an album on here (from your user control panel) and then copy the link into your post.
