Default First time on the track with my 1000F

Well a couple of weekends ago had the chance to finally test my CBR on the race track. All I can say is that I'm amazed what this bike can do, and how well it leans into corners at fast or slow speed, and how good it brakes!.
Even with it's weight and size, it has nothing to be ashamed of next to the most modern RR's!
I guess is true that it's not the bike, is the rider that matters. And this bike has a lot of potential... and I'm just starting to learn how to handle it

Emergency braking tests (100km/h to 0):

Wish I had more pics on the corners but they were a bit blurry (the photographer took about 3000 pics). Maybe next time!

Excellent Daniel, very enjoyable to see, she looks great.

Last PIC I'm guessing the shutter speed was too slow Steve
he was already past the camera.............LOL

Default Nice bike, great pictures

I love the paint scheme of your bike. Very business like with enough flash to be noticed. Enjoyed the pictures but from the look of things, the weather in you country must be a little nippy this time of year. Here in North Carolina, it was 95 degrees today.

Your bike is very sharp looking, Daniel...
Glad you had a good track day, and I love to see these old girls at them.

Thanks for posting this up... great pics!

Happens all the time...
Those photographers just aren't prepared for a Hurricane!

That must have been a real BLAST! Daniel

I'd love to do a track day myself , maybe one day when the cash isn't so tight.

She looks real good on the track and the biggest variable is always the rider! I wouldn't fancy my chances against any MotoGP rider , even if they were on a Moped

Lucky man to have a track close to home - our closest is 550 K's away...

Thanks guys, yeah next time I will have to give a little "incentive" to the photographer, I didn't get to drag the knee but I was damn close on the last laps of the day, that's what I enjoyed the most.

Posted this one somewhere else, but you can see how the rear tire looks like after the day:

Pete, we kind of have the same problem here with the distance. The closest tracks available to us are 200km away, but it was worth it for sure!
