I've finally found a dB-killer version (DIY) that will pass MOT but not kills the engine a lot. The power at very low rpm's (below 2.5 k)is a bit better and the top end is reduced some, but not a terribly lot.

My ones sound good and when i remove the baffles thay are deep and loud. Larg cans work well. 2and a half in let

I got the supertraap metric , very low growl which becomes louder as you twist the trotle..I get often commentaries tha my bike sounds great, at the sportbike meeting on wednesday night they often ask me to start the engine so they can hear the sound.
